Chris & Mike, After last years big crash, I was wondering if all these intermitant board outages are just tech stuff or is there something we as users are doing wrong???? 

No prob.... Most of us are so hooked on this, we could never leave... Just got a little worried after going through withdrawals last time around...  In case we haven't mentioned it lately, thanks for all you do to keep our little playground going..

I agree with Marty (never thought that would happen.  Love ya really!).  This Board is addictive.  Days when I can't get on, for whatever reason, are murder!

I have learned so much from all of you and really enjoy the exchange of ideas and opinions...even if I don't always agree with them!Actually, I learn more from those that I don't agree with.  New viewpoints are always interesting and valuable, even if they don't change your opinions!

We know how to deal with that problem. Chasing out family is easy for us, and as for friends, we just toss a bottle out the door and slam the door after the rush. This move, on the other hand, may do the job on us... still working.

Hi folks, I've found that the board "outages" don't really seem to be "outages" at all.  It's definitely a problem on your hosting providers end -- something with session control on the web server, but it can be worked-around.
 
The next time you see the all-to-familiar error message when you try to hit the forum, open your browser's cookie manager and delete any cookie for www.communitytheater.org with a name that starts with "ASPSESSIONID" and restart the browser.  That works pretty much like a charm for me.
