First of all, "Into the Woods" is a faerie tale, a fantasy,
and an allegory. The audiences who will be
attending come fully prepared to suspend their
disbelief.

Even if the actor playing the wolf had no make-up
whatsoever, the audience would accept this as part
of the theatrical convention. Some may leave
swearing on oath the actor WAS wearing make-up
when none was visible.

Don't concern yourself with duplicating an actual wolf
or getting the make-up "right." Allow your creativity
and imagination to take over.

Jowls, whiskers, eyebrows, fur -- these are all things
that can come into play. Experiment.   Have fun.
