Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: need help

   I read part of a perusal online and now can't (for the life of me) remember where or what it was.  Perhaps you can help. 

It was based on A Christmas Carol, but was staged as sort of like a rehearsal or perhaps the actual play happening onstage.  The director was sitting in the audience speaking to/correcting the actors as they went through the production ("Why did you move the halltree?"  "Because it wasn't where it was supposed to be." Ect.)  I think all of the actors were also acting as dressers backstage and had numerous parts in the production, too.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?!

	*Inspecting Carol* was the first thing that came to mind, though from the little you tell us (and I directed it a decade or so ago), it didn't quite sound like it. Cheers, Jon
