Has anyone done the show Some Things You Need To Know Before The World Ends, by Larry Larson & Levi Lee?  I'm reading it right now and it seems pretty darn funny.  Very prop heavy show, but it's a hoot.  It feels like the kind of show the actors would have a blast doing.

Just was wondering if anyone has done it and if they got much flak from the audience for the subject matter.  It dances right on the sacrilegious edge.

Update.  We did the production and it was hilarious.  The props were a nightmare, but it was pretty fun having to construct "The Machine" (a self-whipping bike).  The sacrilegious aspects of the play actually didn't bother anyone.  The more religious the person was, the louder they laughed.  Here's a link to some photos from the show.

I have to ask though - We're in the Bible Belt, and a relatively new company. Do you think it would push the envelope too much?

To give a baseline - another company did Doubt recently, and although it was an amazing production, not very many people liked it.

If Doubt was offensive to your audience, this would definitely push the envelope.

I think it's Memphis' version of the Village Voice. Many medium to large-size cities have ad-supported, free weeklies.
