Chris Polo

Chris got involved in theater in high school and spent a year at the University of Texas as a theater major. Although she eventually got a degree in French, not theater, her love of the dramatic arts never left her, and after a long hiatus, she eventually returned to her first love through involvement with community theater in her adopted state of Delaware. She has been an active member of the Kent County Theatre Guild in Dover since 1990, wearing a variety of hats: actress, stage manager, make-up artist, set designer, Board member, director, janitor, and just about anything else that needs being done except produce (because she's phone-phobic).

In real life, Chris is the Chief of Creative Services for Delaware State Parks.

Mike Polo

Mike is a 25 year veteran of community theater -- if you count the years he ran sound for local ballet companies. He's been an active member of the Kent County Theatre Guild since 1983, and has worked with a number of other local groups. He started as a techie, doing lights, sound and working crew. Early on he realized that his goal was directing, so he starting working in that direction by learning about acting, auditioning and winning roles in several shows. In 1989, he made his directing debut with Tribute.

Mike has served on the Guild's Board of Trustees for a number of years, including stints as Vice Chairman and Chairman before taking a break.

His parents met in a show produced by the Guild, and following in those footsteps, Mike met Chris when he cast her in Tribute. He works as a Webmaster for the State Of Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control to support his habit.
