i have not had experience with this production, however, i recently directed "one flew over the cuckoos nest" which ran about three hours once we added the tech...( i had some very complex sound within the context of the show) i was also very concerned about the length. what i discovered was that the length of the show was acceptable becase the audience was always interested. if the production is of value and of interest i truly believe you will be alright. we had a very succesful run.... i hope you will as well. trust your audience. never underestimate them. if you give them something good they will not only stay, but return for more as well.
