I am with a community theater outside of Philadelphia, Pa. We have recently started a Youth Ensemble - productions directed by, producted by and starring teens. Because we don't turn away anyone who is interested in being involved, we have a wide range of talent in our group. The teens have recently been asking about taking one of their productions to competition. This is a new subject to me. Can anyone give me more information about theater competition - how I find one, who is eligable, what the benifits and drawbacks of competition are - that sort of thing? Thanks.
