The director of the current show I'm in has asked me to darken my hair to provide more contrast with the other woman in the show. I would prefer to use something more temporary as I will be leaving right after the last show to head to my brother's wedding. My natural color is light brown and the director would like me to go to a dark brown. Any suggestions for temporary hair color products? One that seemed to get good reviews is Fanciful's Mousse. It did look like most people used it to color gray.

Why not a wig?

The director would prefer not to use a wig as they never look quite as natural. There are some physical aspects to the part as well, so a wig could fall off. So far, the temporary color I've tried is not working well.

My husband has had to dye his hair several times.  Go get it done professionally. His hair in now gray so he has had to brown it up 3 of the past 4 summers.  Go a bit darker than your reg. color and it will probably still look fine for your brothers wedding. A bit darker, but it will have faded a bit most likely.
