I'm not finding where to buy scripts or get rights but the excerpts on his web site look pretty witty.

I've never heard of him before today.

He's a staple in Canadian community Theatre - just look at the list of where he's being performed.
He's incredibly prolific - often referred to as Canada's Neil Simon, because his plays are about the people we meet in our lives.  The people down the street, at the coffee shop, or the corner store.
His plays appeal to the audiences, and if you look deeper, there is always something to dig for.
I've had the pleasure to direct two of his , as he put it to me, "more serious shows".  "Storm Warning", and "Kiss the Moon, Kiss the Sun".
I would recommend either of those shows in a heart-beat.   We had the audience laughing and crying! ( at the right times :)  )

If you request it by email - they will send you scripts electronically for perusal, and rights are handled by his agent.

Enjoy!

What would you say his best comedy is?  I was thinking about Office Space or Bedtime Stories because of the flexible cast requirements.

I just finished "Office Hours" last year and it was really well recieved..but with 16 characters we had to double some up.  Although the best one i've seen by him is "My Darling Judith"....very funny play i would highly recommend it.

I love Norm Foster. I was in Jenny's House of Joy a few years ago and am currently directing Self-Help. A great farce. Bedtime Stories is a great show too. If you email for a script, they will send you as many as you want. I have at least 15 of his scripts electronically.

We have done quite a few of his plays at the North River theater in Norwell, MA. Audiences love them. We just finished "The Motor Trade" (Very challenging and a bit long but well received).
