Older people and children.

The Music Man comes immediately to mind.

The King and I also demands a load of kids.

You might be able to pad The Sound of Music with a bunch of nuns and Nazis.

(Not sure what you mean by "older people".  Do you mean "seniors", or just "adults"?)

The Most Happy Fella makes great use of crowds.

Plenty of room in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Finian's Rainbow might work for you.

Maybe High School Musical.

Gilbert and Sullivan might work for you.  You could pad the chorus with a bunch of voices - young and old - with The Mikado or The Pirates of Penzance.  And Iolanthe with it's choruses of fairies and peers is a possibility.

If you want to get really adventurous, you could try a "simplified" version of an opera. Carmen comes to mind because of the children's chorus.

Or you can just do a review, something like Broadway's Golden Years, and fill in a bunch of songs of your own choosing, alternating solos and duets with big choruses.

If I think of anything else, I'll be back.

P.S.
Plenty of room in Scrooge, too.

So I woke up this morning thinking "Annie" and "Oliver!"

If you have African Americans available in your mix of actors and children, there's a lovely musical called Maggie Flynn about a woman running an orphange in New York City during the Civil War. (Shirley Jones starred in it with her then husband Jack Cassidy.)
