A friend told me about a play she once saw that waas nothing but stage directions - the actors would only speak (and do) stage directions. I have searched to no avail - do any of you know this piece?

"Stage Directions" is a one-act by Israel Horovitz and can be found at Dramatists Play Service:

While it has comedic elements and the structure is definitely unique and striking, it concerns three siblings at their father's (?) funeral so there is also some pain and pathos.

There's also a one-act called "Conflict" that includes some elements of that that's pretty darn good.
