Does anyone have any suggestions for a comedy that is public domain/royalty-free?  Preferably something that people have heard of.

Thanks!

Oscar Wilde's "Importance of Being Earnest" is royalty free. (Actually, anything by Oscar Wilde is.)

Here's a royalty free show - a 90 minute abridgment of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer's Night Dream."  There is a small fee for a copy of the abridgment, but I know there are no royalties.

There's a huge soft spot in my heart for Pygmalion. Any Shaw, though, would also be royalty free.

Any Shakespeare will do.  My heart's with "Much Ado," though.
