Currently in production for Footloose and trying to get church ideas.   Would love to have stained glass church windows if possible.   Very small stage with no fly system.    Looking for ideas and/or suggestions?    I have the pulpit and church pews.     Any help would be fantastic!  thanks.

I've seen windows made very easily using tissue paper for the panels, black construction paper in strips for the dividers and clear contact paper on either side to hold it together.

Or hire in a Selicon Pacific Lantern & use a Fergo which can be produced on your home PC & printer.

I have done windows on 1in pink foam board ( I got three windows out of it) cut them in the right shape and paint with latex paint  I screw it on with a fender washer to a 2x4 painted the same wall color  I made a simply base to mounted the 2x4 to and you could move them around

good luck with the show

I made some "stained glass windows" with plexiglass and glass paint and liquid leading.  Looks very realistic. You make or find a design to lay under the plexi glass and thenjust copy it.  You can even shine light through it.  Does cost a little but much cheaper than the real thing.

My new favorite thing is wide format printers. You get a design for the window on the computer, get it printed on vinyl. Stretch the vinyl on a wooden frame and light it from the back. Presto! We did this for lighted signs, it worked great. I thought at the time, "Wow, this would make a great stained glass window."
