Hello!

I figured this would be a good place to start asking than digging through publisher sites - our production company is planning a 5th anniversary gala and we'd like to top off the night with a dinner theater kind of show.

We're looking for a small cast show (6-8 tops), with very minimal production needs (as we'll be renting a banquet hall somewhere), but something very comedic and including audience participation.

Hopefully someone out there has done some good shows that can be recommended - thanks!

For some murder mysteries try http://www.mysteriesbymoushey.com/ - Mysteries by Moushey .

We're getting ready to do Murder by Magic, but have also done Wedding from Hell and Seance at (place of performance).

I saw a very funny play some years ago called "Bar None". It was performed in an actual bar and appeared to have multiple endings (a la "Clue") where the audience votes on who they think committed the murder. I think the cast was about 7 or 8, not sure. As I recall it was either PG or PG-13 if that's an issue.

I have one that is close to your needs, The Murderous Mansion of Mr. Uno, which is a parody of the movie Clue.

Well, this is slightly larger than you're asking for (cast of 11), but it's comedic and has audience participation - there are 11 possible endings. You can read it online here: - just click on read free sample

I am currently directing Clue: The Musical and it would fit your requirements pretty easily.  It is a cast of 8, interactive and the set as described in the script and production manual is very simple.  It's a fun show and has some instant name recognition.

That would be great but we're not looking for a musical right now, unfortunately.

We're going with "All Over But the Shooting" probably
