Hi all,

I'm working on a new article for those in the theatre and performing arts, on surviving the holidays even while on tour. I know that many here have worked in theatre in a variety of roles over the years, so thought I'd see if anyone has any advice for surviving a tour during the holidays.

In a nutshell, it's exhilarating to be on tour, but it's also tough, demanding, and a grind, and the holidays can really bring back those feelings of homesickness more strongly than ever.

* So how did YOU do it?
* What tips would you give other performers on tour?
* What did the producers do to help the performers and crew get through the holidays?
* Please do list some of your tour experiences for the purposes of the article -- how long were you on tour, what year, what show was it, etc.?

NOTE: If you would like to be quoted in the article with your full name, etc., please drop me a message or e-mail, with your full name, as well as some of the tours you've participated in. (But no pressure)

Cheers and many thanks as always, and Happy Thanksgiving!
