I am working on the strategic plan for our relatively new Theatre Company. We actually started up about 3 years ago and have met all our previous goals. We are now working on production plans for the next three years. Our actor pool is still small as we did mostly fund raising and community involvement for the first two years and only did one major production last year with 2 musical reviews. We now are trying to come up with an achieveable season for the next three years. We want to grow our stage performances and add a few events like a playright's submission or work with the local high school.

I would love to have any imput that your theatre's plan possibly included and was successful with early on.

You have several colleges near you: Armstron Atlantic State U, Georgia Tech, Troy State. Do any of these offer Playwriting as a course or major?

You may also want to reach out to the universities that offer Arts Management as a degree. Students with projects in that major may have valuable (professor monitored) suggestions for your organization's plan and program. Since Arts Management degree majors need to cover the business aspects they will consider risks, opportunies and marketing/PR ideas.
