Well, the original play, Tabby Walls and Bottle Trees, was a smashing success!!  We had over 1000 people/rear ends in the chairs and actually made all our money back and turned a profit.

With a fifty plus cast and non committment issue, we survived and prevailed!  I'm so thrilled and thought I would share with you all!

Yes...many days I worried if we would even have a play ready for stage.  But, it came together, beautifully.  There were a few problems with sound in the theatre, but with profits, we are looking into purchasing an overhead drop mike system.

Might the sound problem be caused by the it bouncing off smooth surfaces &/or echoing within the auditorium?
If so just some wall curtaining will reduce this dramaticly.

Could be...but we don't own the theatre..we borrow the high school theatre for shows..so we are hoping the drop down system..which we can use and remove will solve the problem and allow us to take it with us when we have our own theatre.
