When empty-nester Greg adopts stray dog Sylvia, her antics and his fondness for her threaten to disrupt his marriage.
Energetic, comic and fresh, Sylvia is an entertaining romp for dog and theatre lovers alike. The New York Daily News described the show as “…one of the most involving, beautiful, funny, touching and profound plays I have ever seen…”.
Wheaton Drama’s Sylvia cast is: Mike Boyna as Greg; Jennifer Ciombor as Sylvia; Joan Morrissey as Kate; Vince Scalone as Tom, Leslie and Phyllis.
Penny Salvesen is directing. Jackie Haiser is the producer and stage manager.
Performances of Sylvia are July 9 through July 18, 2010. Shows are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets are $10 each. Seating is general admission. Sylvia is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
