Wheaton Drama Casts To Gillian On Her 37th Birthday

 

Wheaton Drama, Inc. (WDI) has cast its fourth show of the 2009-2010 season, To Gillian On Her 37th Birthday.  

 

Winner of the 1983 Oppenheimer Award for Best Play, Michael Brady’s touching and funny family drama focuses on love, loss, and hope.

 

The cast is: Traci A. Cidlik as Kevin, Jeni Dees as Esther, Katie Kanturek as Rachel, Erica Pezza as Cindy, Ish Rios as Paul, Lisa Schmela as Gillian, and Craig Witt as David.

 

Marc Ludena is directing, assisted by Jo-Ann Ledger. Mary Beth deBolt and Dawn Herbst are the production managers and Debbie Trueblood is the stage manager.

 

The production staff also includes: Ben Aylesworth (set design and construction), Keith deBolt (set decoration), Diana Dignan (costumes), Melissa Heischberg (website), Andy Kanturek (video), Jo-Ann Ledger (publicity), Marc Ludena (set design and graphic design), Genevieve Pastore (properties), Becky Poole (tickets), Jim Quan (sound design), Kate Quan (programme), Melissa Sokasits (hair and make-up), and Jim Van De Velde (lighting design).

 

Performances of To Gillian On Her 37th Birthday are March 26 through April 18 (no show Easter). Shows are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm.  Tickets are $16 Friday-Sunday; $13 Thursdays.

 

To Gillian On Her 37th Birthday is presented by arrangement with Broadway Play Publishing, Inc.

 

Wheaton Drama will conclude its 2009-2010 season with the musical Chicago, running May 28 –June 20.
