Has anyone ever been involved with the musical revue TAKING MY TURN? It needs a cast of 4 men and 4 women over the age of 55. Would you rate it as successful? An audience pleaser? Any feedback would be great.

I've never been involved with a production. However, I've adjudicated two community theatre productions of it, and it was a rousing success each time. The community theatres weren't large (maybe 200-250 seats each), but they had very good houses when I was there, and the audiences just ate it up.
If you do it,  be sure to advertise geared to the younger people as well as older (sort of a "what is your mom and dad really thinking" kind of thing) ... this play's humor and emotion was not audience specific. I would liken it, for an extreme example) of a kid's play like "the Lion King" which adults also love.

Yes, it ran for 9 months under a 499 seat contract in a theatre I managed in NYC.  Very Successful with a wonderfully talented cast that included Tiger Haynes (original Tin Man in The Wiz), Cissy Houston (Whitney's Mom), Marni Nixon (singing voice in movies "West Side Story" for Natalie Wood, "The King & I" for Deborah Kerr and "My Fair Lady" for Audrey Hepburn) and five other great singer/actors.
