Can anyone help me find an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland which also includes the Jabberwocky scene?  I am looking for a one-act, or a full length that can easily be trimmed and that has a flexible cast of 12-20 actors. Need publisher!

The poems present a fundamental problem to any stage adaptations of the two Alice books.  In the books, the poems are essentially recited to Alice rather than being things in which she takes part and therefore presenting them on the stage within the Alice stories is a distraction.

(Additionally, the stories themselves are episodic rather than having a narrative arc - unless you count the simple Chess instruction built into Through the Looking Glass - and as a result, there is very little dramatic tension.  Thus they are very difficult to adapt for the stage.)

So, I haven't come across an adaptation of Through the Looking Glass which includes Jabberwocky.
However, there is a 30 minute script for a cast of 20 kids which builds a fantasy around http://www.lazybeescripts.co.uk/cgi-bin/Search_Results.asp?iSc=793 - The Jabberwocky .  (This does away with the framing narrative of Alice!)
