Hi,
Hope this is the correct forum for this question. A company I am involved with wants to do a show solely consisting of monologues and short scenes. There has been questioning on how we go about the royalties for this. Is there a certain place  that  handles a list of monologues and such,  or do we have to go to each individual play and deal with it like that? And since it is just a tiny piece, I assume the rate changes, as opposed to doing the entire play. We are charging for this and looking at probably 3 performances.
Thanks.
george

Unfortunately you'd have to deal with each publisher/author individually for something like this. The answers you'll get from the various publishers will probably vary from no charge to a full royalty.

Best wishes,
Craig Mason
