My theatre has a studio where we construct costumes, rehearse, have auditions, use as office space, storage etc.... I really would like to keep the studio because I feel it houses our structure and what else would we do?  Anyway, the rent is killing us right now.  thank goodness I have the best landlord in the world who is working with us as we are two months behind.  unfortunitaly, we really don't have any money coming in right now.  Our space is pretty big and we have rented our big room out to an excercise group that generates about a 100$ a week but we really need more help.  Any ideas about how to make the studio work for itself and still keep with the spirit of the theatre ie dance, costumes, acting, music etc.

Buildings usually don't pay for themselves.  Look at other topic areas on this web site for fundraising.  There are many other ways to generate revenues.  Sell raffle tickets, write grants, hold a golf tourney, have a silent & live auction, etc.  Do some research on this site.
