We are a local NJ theater group and need to perform a straight play in order to obtain a grant. We have more women than men. Men total about 4. Any suggestions on an easy funny play we could perform by November?? Thanks in advance!

I have a play intended for community theatres that might work well for you.

A Tiny Miracle With A Fiberoptic Unicorn (5 W 4 M)

(you need to have some teenagers/young people to make it work)

You might want to look at "Five Tellers Dancing in the Rain" or "Dancing at Lugnauhsa". Both are heavy on the women side and play straight to the drama.

A Barrel Full of Pennies 3 m 3 women. very funny play, easy set and costumes.
