I wanted to drop in to let you know of a new play publisher that has just launched in the past month!

 

It's called Next Stage Press.

The catalogue is small right now (because we're so new) - but the submission process is ongoing.  We're hoping to add between 25-40 new titles by the end of the year.  The plays are available for purchase in acting editions or manuscript versions.

 

If you're a playwright that is tired of getting rejected by the NYC publishers, a producer that wants to look at new material, or an actor that would like to have new plays in your library for audition purposes - stop by and give us a look!!

 

We have a few award winners -

 

Both 18 Holes (which is overflowing with monologues) and Someone Else's Life - received the Best Play Award from the Rocky Mountain Theatre Association.

 

We also have a few plays that would travel easily - The Brothers Pig and The Flounder and the Fisherman are the perfect length to fit into school assemblies.

 

Our play Lamp (to be published in July) was produced by the Huntsville Community Theatre in Huntsville, Tx and was an audience favorite.
