Let's see ... half the cast is sick, two were injured in unrelated accidents at rehearsals last night (one fell down the stairs and the other got a finger caught in a rope), they've managed to break every bowl, and even pulled down a bookcase.  Yep ... it's tech week.  We open Friday .... Pray for us!

Hang in there! It's always darkest before the dawn and all that jazz.  And sick actors tend to make amazing recoveries when those lights come on.

Our last play the end of February had our whole cast sick too. My lead actor could not talk for 4 weeks during rehearsal under doctor's orders. He had strained his voice badly. We rehearsed with whoever we could find to read his lines while he lip synced. I knew he knew the lines so that wasn't a worry. But the flu he had went through the cast. On opening night we had to mike two actors because their voices were so weak. It was rough rehearsing, but the audience didn't notice and gave them a standing ovation.
