Hi all,
First of all, thanks for the forum. I have gotten a lot of great ideas from the great people here. Here are some pics of our current production, Seussical. I know there are a lot of schools doing this production, and maybe these designs can be of use to someone. The pieces may also be offered up after the show, but there is a school interested already, but I will keep you all posted. Hi MercyTech, your set pieces are very colorful and inventive, and well in keeping with the Dr. Seuss style. (I already did the show, so I don't need them). But good job! -Dana

Thank very much Dana, It was a fun show to do, and a good departure from our usual. I just wanted to make a very 2d "book" representation. With the very colorful characters and costumes, I did not feel the need to make a big elaborate set. The piano just got taken and will be reused for "Your A Good man, Charlie Brown" We may redesign the swiveling panels and make a ship for our upcoming "H.M.S. Pinafore." The rest will get taken apart on our strike on the 19th. Here are a couple of rehearsal shots:   |
