The last post about one act selections got me to thinking, I may as well ask for ideas here too!.   During our season of tribute to the movies next year, (all shows have been a movie at some time) we are doing an evening of One Acts as one of our seven shows.  We have decided that, while following the Movie theme if possible, that we would like to have the one acts be geared to Children.  Not that we want them IN the shows.. We are just looking for some fun stuff to present FOR children, or younger audineces...  Looking to do 3 to 4 one acts that night..

Any ideas?

I think that is a brilliant idea.  You are very lucky to have such smart, savvy and most likely very good looking people on your board to come up with such brilliant ideas.  Clown

A big thank you to "pdavis69"

I am actually on the board at MartyW's theatre.
Apparently you are speaking of me.

how about a cutting? maybe the croquet scene from Alice in Wonderland? - or a piece of Lion, Witch and Wardrobe?

Try Wiley and Hairy Man by Susan Zeder. Just about anything by Susan Zeder would work.

I'd suggest my own stuff, but they're more aimed at teenagers, not smaller children.
