          | This is by no means the official poster we're using as I don't have all the legal requirements on it, but I like it.

I based it off of the DVD cover and I thought it would be neat do replicate best I can.

 What do you think?

          | It's very nice; The only thing I'd suggest though is to make the title more prominent; the font is so thin and the color so similar to the background trees, it doesn't have that pop to really stand out.
Is the picture from your production as well?

Ok, this is the official poster. I filled in the title a bit. I don't mind that the legal stuff isn't that difficult to read, they had to stipulations as to size in the contract. I know the dates and stuff are a tad hard to read here, the poster will be 11 X 17 so it'll be large enough.

And yes, this is our Anne. I took the photo outside the theatre last Saturday.

          | The photo is gorgeous - wonderful colors.  I love using photos of the actual cast members whenever possible on the posters/programs... makes even a community theater feel like more of a big deal. |

          | Stunning and rich with color! I agree with making the title prominent. Other than that it's gorgeous. Break a leg!

          | It looks very nice and professional. But the title is too small and difficult to read because it’s on top of those leaves. My philosophy is that the most important requirement of a poster is that you have “What” and “Where” (and to a lesser extent “When”) big enough and plain enough to jump out at someone pushing their cart of groceries past a bulletin board covered with crap. Even at 11x 17 I think this poster could use some improvement in that regard. Just my two cents since you asked. Good luck with the show! |
