I'd love to do The Producers but WOW! I bet it'd be an expensive show. Anyone here planning a production? |

A local community theatre here is planning on it in their next season. They've asked me to direct it, but I don't see how I can do it in their limited space with their very limited budget. I just don't know.

Go for the challenge - you'll do a great job & love it! 
Utilise the whole auditorium & even get the punters involved.
Besides the size of the 'Springtime' number, the settings would not be that much of a problem.
{get them to add an 'Apron' thrust or 'avenue' staging?
Try them out on thinking outside the box!
