I have searched high and low for a supplier of theatrical staging vs. scaffolding.  In particular, I am looking for a walkthrough (bridge unit) that will allow actors to walk under. (6.5').  I have found scaffolding (not sure of sturdiness) and welded steel mobile platforms (too expensive).  Does anyone know of a good resource?  We are located in Rhode Island.  Boston would be the nearest large city.

I know I can build from wood but would like a more industrial look to the set.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have not used them yet, but we are looking for a set for our upcoming Christmas production and this is one of the places we found. Good luck!
