Hi! This is my first time posting, so I hope it's okay to ask this: can anyone tell me what the part of "Betty" does in The Full Monty? I've been offered this chorus role in our local community theatre but can't seem to find out any information about it (probably because it's just a chorus role). I also am trying to find out who "Marty" is for a friend -- male or female? and what do they do? Thanks for any info.

Hi, Merry - got this from a friend of mine:

"I just finished a long run of The Full Monty as Pam Lukowski. Both Betty and Martie are "scenery" parts- they aren't in the musical numbers. I think they each are both briefly in one or two scenes as people in crowds/groups. They may have one or two speaking lines, maximum. They were given names though their names aren't ever said in the show, so I don't even quite remember which one was which. The main character female parts are Pam, Georgie, Estelle and Vicki. Hope that helps."

There's a little bit of diva in all of us. Some just have a larger helping than others.
