Hello,
I'm that struggling new drama teacher eager to do more Reader's Theater in the local grade schools. We performed Gingerbread Boy, The Friendly Beasts and other Christmas poems at a local grade school. We found some success with it and the costumes. We also did Bubba the Cowboy Prince, a delightful Cinderella type story and had the author visit the school as well.
I am searching for new Reader's Theater ideas. Anyone have suggestions? Books? Scripts? Videos? I have checked out Arron's Internet pages and the Reading Lady.
