Does anyone know who has the rights to Tuck Everlasting?

I wasn't aware it was adapted for the stage, I read the book when I was a youngster and loved it. I refused to see the movie for fear it wouldn't do justice to my memory of the book, but if you find out I'd love to know where to get the script.

Mark Frattaroli is a playwright who has adapted "Tuck Everlasting" for the stage (his Mother-in-Law is Natalie Babbit, the author of the book). I'm finding a lot of information through DMPlayhouse.com about performances of the show. Perhaps they own the rights.

I wanted the rights to a made for TV movie a couple of years ago and, like you couldn't find it. I joined INMb and looked up the movie where I found the screenwriter. If you are a menber of INMb you have access to contact information to the preformers, directors, etc. I looked up the screenwriter and after a few comunications with her worked out a deal to produce the play. You might try this. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info. What movie did you adapt and do you still have a script for it?

I am sorry, I failed to answer your question about the play I want to do. I don't have a script, in fact I would have to adapt it for the stage from a TV screenplay. I am reluctant to give out the name until I wrap up my control of it. But I promise to let you know once that happens.
