we finally got the city to put road signs on a busy street to divert people to our tucked-away theater. Imagine our surprise when we saw this... (im on the left, BTW)...  They came and corrected the spelling. but we waited 52 years for a sign, and that is what we saw once we were told "They're up!" Darn the luck! ------------- ------ Troy A. That's funny, but be happy you have a theater, we fight with the manager of the local health club to get him to put our shows on the marquee outside the community center. ------------- "If nothing else, there's applause... like waves of love pouring over the footlights." |

But then who creates your signs in your state? HERE they use the prison population to do the creation of all the road signs and such (well any public signage) as a way for the prisoners to earn their keep so to speak. They aren't the BEST spellers in the world I'd guess. They even had a sign near here where I work at the State Capitol building - at a place across the river where tourists could view the Capitol building from afar. It was titled CAPITAL VIEW PARK. Misspelling of CAPITAL when it should have been CAPITOL view. Took them 10 years before someone finally convinced them it was spelled wrong - but then again this is government too. FUNNY though that COMUNITY was spelled wrong - typical. Glad they corrected it for you though. Funny.
