Here in the Kansas City area, it depends on the theatre. One of the outdoor theatres in the area pay choreographers, directors, music directors, stage managers, and props people. Another theatre in the area don't pay anyone. There's an article in a prior KC Stage Magazine you can read ( http://www.kcstage.com/?a=Magazine&op=View&md=Article&aid=589&back=Index&relmonth=-12&sid=1180279202 - How to Succeed in Community Theatre and Get Paid for It  ) that basically states it depends on the budget Smile. Anywhere from $0 to $650 is the listing for choreographer.

Sorry can't help you much, because we here don't pay anyone!
Not wanting to go around the world for thruppence again!
But I was trying to think when did the amateur bit evaporate & it become community theatre at a going rate?
Or is it still the same horse just with different pro jockeys, riding under amdram silks?
