Our community theater is doing Beauty and the Beast this summer and my wife and I are in charge of the music.  In the alternate orchestration, keyboard 2 part, it calls for a keyboard sound named Wolf Growl for the Wolf Chase #1 scene.  None of our keyboards have that sound, and I have searched all over via Google for something to use.

I assume it isn't a wolf growl, but is a keyboard sound of some sort that emulates it in some fashion.

Can anyone shed any light on what might be used for that sound in the keyboard part?

Thanks.

If I recall (and depending on what type of digital piano you own) you can add additional sound fx to them.  If your specific piano allows you to do this, contact the manufacturer for the various sound effects and add in the growling wolf.
I have to admit that I am not familiar with the musical score for BatB.  But from the way you are describing it, there are specific notes and chords that are used for the wolf growl.
Hopefully, someone here may have experience with the show and can shed somemore light on this situation.
