help!  I need 10 colored phones for BBBirdie.  Anyone have a good idea as to where to find them...or...anyone want to rent to So. Cal?  Thanks!

take a look there...they are only 10 bucks each and you could spray em the colors that you needed. :)

You may want to try your Salvation Army store or rummage sales for old phones with cords and as suggested spary paint the colors that you want or need.  This would be cheaper then paying expensive price for a phone from a store you are not going to really use.
The nice thing as well is that you don't need to have a complete phone, some can just be the receiver and a long cord attached to the set.

We had the kids (high school production) bring in old phones from home. I tried at least 5-6 thrift/resale shops in my area and was shocked when I could not find a single one. I was thinking of trying the phone company...maybe, just maybe they have some old ones stuffed in a closet somewhere. It was a thought someone else gave me, but never tried since we got enough from the actors and tech kids. Good luck with finding them!

Call around to any and all local theatres.  You might be able to paint them with tempera paint, which will then easily wipe off with a baby wipe.
