Hi everyone. Im looking for a specific one-act play that I cannot seem to remember the title of. The play takes place in a cafe and the two leads(1-m/1-f) proceed to meet and talk. The funny part is, every time one of them says something that would stop the conversation, a bell rings and they back up a few lines and redo the scene changing the line until it continues the conversation. The play moves forward through the meeting until all goes well and they end up madly in love. Can ANYONE please tell me the title?
Thanks.Star

The one-act you're describing sounds like "The Sure Thing" by David Ives.

It's part of a collection of one-acts titled "All in the Timing."

Good luck.

Correct play.  But my wife (who directed this) would want me to point out, the title is NOT "The Sure Thing" - that's the 1985 Rob Reiner movie which is not related to the play.  The title of the play is "Sure Thing", which is what the characters often say just before the bell rings.

Yeah, overly pedantic, I know.  Sorry.
