Well ... it's happened. I'm now the proud president of our new board. I figured either this would happen or I would have to start my own group from scratch. Instead the president resigned and I can start over. Luckily for me I found a couple more people to add to the board that are fresh.

My question ... since we have full NPO status, can I approach the owner of a building with the following pitch. If he'll allow us to use his vacant space for the next two months, he can write off the entire lease (what he was getting before) as a donation? If not ... is there another way I should approach it?
