Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: Director Applications Accepted Through 2/15/13

   Wheaton Drama, Inc. (WDI) at Playhouse 111 in downtown Wheaton, IL is seeking applications from volunteers interested in directing a show in the 2013-2014 season.

Pending confirmation of rights, the proposed shows and dates are:

Lend Me A Tenor by Ken Ludwig. Performance dates: September 13 – October 6, 2013. Auditions: July 28-29.
Beauty And The Beast by Menken/Ashman/Rice/Woolverton (Disney Musical). Performance dates: November 8 – December 8, 2013. Auditions: September 15-16. 
TBA. (Rights were not available for The 39 Steps. An alternate title will be posted on the WDI website when approved.)  Performance dates: January 24 – February 16, 2014. Auditions: November 10-11.
Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling. Performance dates: March 21 – April 13, 2014. Auditions: January 26-27.
The Music Man by Meredith Wilson. Performance dates: May 23 – June 15, 2014. Auditions: March 23-24.
Performances are Thursdays-Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm.

Wheaton Drama is a volunteer organization. There are no stipends for directors. Wheaton Drama membership is required for a nominal fee.
