Has anyone done any of the MTI Broadway in Concert series and if so, can you tell me what is included.
I realize that you can eliminate sets and trim things down ... but are their shows (like Guys & Dolls) trimmed down to where it's only introductory dialogue or is it the entire show ... just without the sets? Thanks |

I was going to ask the same question. Sadly no replies yet.
What I can tell you is that should you call MTI, they'll want all the demographic information and dates of your intended concert performance(s) before they (MTI and other publishing houses for that matter)will give you any financial or other pertinent information. Pretty protective! I'd also like to know if any of the houses would allow you to pare down their full-blown musicals' scripts in order to do concert versions of them....and, if so, at what cost? Last...if you're still with me: Has anyone done a concert version of any of the following: Les Mis, Phantom (Webber's), or Hairspray? Edited by Stagefryte - 7/24/13 at 2:23pm |
