Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: LAMP POST

   I remember taking apart a lamp post to throw away. Figures, we need one knpw.  I remember they used a carpet cardboard roll and had a 2 x 4 in it 
and a base at the bottom. The light was lightneded by plugging it in with a standard electrical cord.

can anyone help us with????

	You can probably make a quick and dirty base for it by cutting off the top edge (6" or so--enough to cut off where handles attach) of a 5 gallon bucket and cut a hole in the top that your carpet tube will slip through. this will help hide your wooden base you screw down to the floor or platforms. For a top you can probably adapt some sort of existing fixture. Good Luck.
