Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: Farcical Murder Mystery Dinner Scripts Needed

   We are a new non-prof theater company wanting to produce Murder Mystery Dinner Theater - audience interactive type. We have a small budget, a 3 person board and community that appears ripe for fun, interactive, improvisational theater. But what we dont have are low or no royalty scripts for Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. Comedy/farce/campy stuff is what we are looking for. Cindy Melton had posted on here that she had some available for rent, however her email is not working. If anybody has any suggestions, resources or helpful hints on where to dig them up, we would really appreciate it! Please email me personally or post here. 

Has anyone ever requested new scripts be submitted from the community? We live in an area where three colleges collide...I'm sure someone is a playwright at heart.  How do we do this without actually comissioning them?

	Try the Lakeside Players for scripts. They charge a flat $75 for their script, royalty, etc. (http://www.zyworld.com/Lakesideplayers/). My group is doing "Trouble at the Tropicabana" next fall. I like it because it is a take-off on Lucy, Ricky, Fred and Ethel (if you remember who they were!). And the Lakeside Players will answer any of your questions, etc. I found them to be very helpful.
