Since we're limited to doing shows in a church we thought we would take a look at a melodrama for this fall and possibly add in dinner.
Preferably it would be approximately 90 minutes in length / two act play. That way we could do dinner prior to the first act, serve dessert and then finish up with the second act. We obviously want something extremely funny but would still not offend the church. Cast size would need to be 6 to 8 people. Do you know of any shows that might meet this criteria? Thanks - |

Scott, I may have what you're looking for...a spoof on the classic melodrama that was written specifically for dinner/dessert shows at a family-friendly venue. It was produced at both a dinner theater and a grange hall.
