The Acorn comeatre group who ran the smallest theatre in the world, as regonised by the Guiness Book of Records.
Was forced to close it's doors by the local City Council, suposidly because the building had asbestos & they were not prepared to maintence it. Although in reality they had flogged of the land to get the big $'s.

I followed up on that, and looked at a video about it. I wanted to see more of the inside. Amazing how they made it work. The audience is practically on the stage themselves.
As the saying goes: fill a barn with grain you get mice; leave it empty you get actors.
Well done, them. I'll never complain about our lack of wing space again.

Here is the smallest theatre building, well it's actually only a pohmy [british] theatre dunny [tiolet] http://www.wctheatre.co.uk/ but they make it workable.
