Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: making smoke come out of a mask

   For the Foreigner, I'd like to use the effect of having smoke come out of the eyeholes in the Klan mask, but everything I can find on effects sites have about a three-foot safety range.  Any thoughts?  Thanks!

	Does your actor smoke cigarettes? Have him take a puff offstage and hold his breath until it's time to release the smoke. If he doesn't already smoke, don't encourage him to start.
