After benchmarking, collecting feedback and suggestions from many people on this site, we launched a new web site.  We spent several months developing outline, layout and content.  We understand that a great web site is not final and should always be a work in progress.  Please check out our site at www.osterregent.org

Yes, we are using a "myblog" blog module.  You'll see it on the left side of our home page.  We're going in weekly to keep it up to date.  We've started selling season tickets about a month ago and our site has helped our business in a lot of ways.  We've had several inquiries about sponsoring plays, we've sold season tickets online, had a number of people fill out our online survey, collected a number of e-mail addresses - had people register with us, and had several businesses call and e-mail about having ads in our playbill/program.  So, in the 10 weeks the web site has been up and running, it's already starting to help the business side our our organization.  We added features like "plan your visit" then people can click on "area dining" and we listed only area restaurants that have an ad in our playbill.  You can direct link to a particular restaurant web site to check their menu and make your own reservations, then go immediately back to our site.  We check our data weekly and as of today we've had: 3,323 visits, 43,793 page views and 455,983 hits.  And, that's in 10 weeks.  I think with our old site we had 50 visits a year and I was probably 30 of them! http://www.osterregent.org
