I have several new plays being published today, including one I wrote specifically for community theatres. It's called A Tiny Miracle with A Fiberoptic Unicorn and is in the same vein as Brighton Beach Memoirs and Over the Tavern. You can read almost the entire thing on-line here:

 

 

Also, another one of my plays, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, (think the reduced shakespeare company meets the brothers Grimm) is also well-suited for community theatres. In the past year it's been produced at 10 community theatres all over the country, with an upcoming production in Ireland. It also recently took first place at the Nebraska Assoc. of Community Theatre one-act festival (there's a one-act and full-length version) and will advance on to the regional meet.
