Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: The Wizard of Oz

   Way back when - and I am going back 30 plus years - Tams Witmark use to have a version fo the Wizard of Oz that had a wicked withc tea party and an Ozian General scene - it did not follow the movie script version, but provided a much broader ensemble cast and was easier to stage than the Movie.
I went to Tams to find that version, and it appears to be gone!  It must have fallen in the Witches cauldron and gotten smaller, and smaller, and smaller...until it disappeared!

Does anyone know where it might be?  I asked the folks at Tams, but I don't find them very knowledgable on the subject.

	try them again - and ask for the archivist it IS from Tams Witmark - and they still carried it as of three years ago here it is - read the synopsis - it is not the film http://tamswitmark.com/musicals/wizard.html

	Thanks tristanrobin - I looked at both of those, and while the MUNY version is close - there was no rocket ship in the version I am thinking of. I'll take another look at it.
